The Burnt Cork Coasters (set of 5) by Studio Corkinho are small plates that can protect a surface, absorb metallic sound, or warm up other materials just by being present. Add an accent of natural charm to your interior with these multi-purpose items. Each piece is made from 100% organic cork bark leftovers and is slightly burnt before pressing to get this particular color and finish. Each plate is varnished with a thin layer for protection to ensure durability.

Cork is a natural material, it can withstand high temperatures making it an ideal tableware companion. But, given its natural properties, it should also be treated with care: do not submerge it in water or put it in the dishwasher. Gently wipe clean with a damp cloth.

View reviewEnter The Loft saved me this Christmas! I already had a present for my husband but it wasn't available (too complex to explain here), and I needed something at short notice. We already have a set of beautiful Hasamai porcelain bowls, so I decided to get some matching plates, but I was not optimistic that they would arrive on time. I ordered the plates late on the 20th, and had them in house two days later. He's delighted with the plates, I got to relax and enjoy Christmas, and I've discovered a wonderful new shop (EtL) that I'll definitely be visiting in the new year.
