Cappelen Dimyr is a creative collective based in Copenhagen, passionate about creating contemporary artisanal rugs and tapestries in the finest natural fibers, handcrafted by specialists in India using traditional techniques. The world of Cappelen Dimyr is significantly bohemian, warm and artistic with a clear DNA – conscious, crafted and personal.

Materials
Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers such as unbleached linen and wool in an effort to make products that have minimal harmful impact on the environment.
Every piece is trimmed by hand, washed with natural soap, and dried under the sun.
Cappelen Dimyr uses no chemicals in any part of the production, and constantly strives to improve their practices in respect for people and the planet.
All products are certified by Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.

Capellen Dimyr, one of our newest brands was launched at our last Winter Pop-up Shop. In this little corner, our interior stylists have styled our Torso Table Lamp by Menu, Kombinat Stool/Nightstand from Heerenhuis, Heritage Lantern Brown by Taiwan Lantern, and lovely Isabelle Yamamoto cushions. After many great reactions we decided to also add the Handwoven Colonnade Rug No. 02 and Tapestry No. 1 to our standard collection.

The beautiful Handwoven Rug No. 7 has different textures combined and big tassels. The unbleached linen and wool give all the rugs a beautiful and natural colour and premium feel. They blend in beautifully with our Timeless Linen and Isabelle Yamamoto cushions, our Gervasoni Couch, Covent Lounge Chair and Offset Sofa.

The rugs can be placed under or near a coffee table or couch, as we did here with the Handwoven Rug No. 12. They also work beautifully in the bedroom to create a cosy feeling. We styled the rug with our Burned Coffee table by WDSTCK. On the coffee table, you see some accessories like our Jars Vase, White Teardrop Alabasters and Candle Pins.
