Plant Dyed Lantern Blue

Steeped in tradition, with over 5 craftsmen working on its completion, the Plant Dyed Unicolors Lantern is made from waxed cotton canvas with a gently curved bamboo frame to ensure it diffuses a soft glowing light. Each lantern is based on traditional Taiwanese temple luminaries, a modern reinterpretation made for those with a fondness for statement lighting.

The artisan grows and harvests her own fresh indigofera Tinctoria plants. To create the dense and rich blue color, she dips natural cotton 20 times into a natural dye created from these plants. The plant dyed lantern brings the colors of nature into your daily life.
