A Paperlike Lamp

New Works utilizes a variety of materials, from timeless classics like marble and granite to innovative materials like Tyvek. An excellent example of the latter is the Tense Pendant Lamp, where functional Tyvek, a durable, lightweight, and 100% recyclable material typically used in insulation and medical equipment, is used in a completely new application.

The Tense Lamp from New Works stole the show in our inaugural showroom, where we presented both the Tense Lamp 70 and the Tense Lamp 90 above a long oak Heerenhuis Table. Contrary to expectations, the LED light source is easily interchangeable, with a long lifespan and flexibility. Want a sense of how the the light looks? View our video's.

While they consider this lamp a masterpiece on its own, joint presentations create engaging compositions. To further enhance their allure, New Works has introduced Multi Canopies for this collection, allowing for the suspension of 3 or 5 lamps from a single central canopy.
