Give yourself some more Bed Peace.

SUITE702 was founded by Shirley Muijrers and Olaf Arkauer in 2018. They live together with two kids in Amsterdam. Shirley is a textile designer with a passion for color and extensive knowledge of textiles and materials. Olaf has a background in branding. Together, they combine these strengths to make innovation, color, and luxury accessible to a broad audience.

In this always-on society, Olaf and Shirley aim to inspire everyone to log out more with SUITE702.

Behind the name

The name SUITE702 is a reference to the famous Bed-In of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. In 1969, during their honeymoon, they spent an entire week in bed, in Suite 702 of the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam-Zuid. The Bed-In of John and Yoko was dedicated to World Peace.

We believe that in this fast-paced world of always being connected, just like John Lennon and Yoko Ono, we should log out more often.

"We can't promise you world peace, but a good night's sleep is a hell of a start."
