Please use only warm soap water when cleaning and dry immediately with a soft cloth. The solid oak board is treated with a food-safe oil. If the surface of the wood dries out you might be able to restore its original glow using olive oil. Apply a fine layer of olive oil to the product, and wipe off the excess with a soft clean cloth. The wood is likely to get a slightly darker color tone after applying oil.
