The oak is treated with oil. If the surface of the oak wood dries out, you might be able to restore its original glow by applying new linseed/flaxseed oil to the product. Follow the instruction label of the oil carefully. When cleaning the products, use only a damp cloth and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent watermarks.

We already have a set of beautiful Hasamai porcelain bowls, so I decided to get some matching plates, but I was not optimistic that they would arrive on time. I ordered the plates late on the 20th, and had them in house two days later. He's delighted with the plates, I got to relax and enjoy Christmas, and I've discovered a wonderful new shop (EtL) that I'll definitely be visiting in the new year.
