The Daphine Terra Floor Lamp Brushed Nickel LED, designed by Tommaso Cimini, was introduced shortly after its smaller counterpart, the Daphine Table Lamp, made its debut at the 1974 Milan Fair. Both lamps are widely recognized as design icons. The floor-standing version, the Daphine Terra Floor Lamp, was created to expand its functionality. Positioned next to seating areas or beside a bed, it serves as an excellent light source for reading. Read more about this iconic design here.

The Daphine collection is still handmade in Italy by Lumina, a family-owned manufacturer of quality lighting as they have been, for over 45 years.

In our permanent collection, we offer this brushed nickel finish and the soft black version. We can also provide these finishes on request: matt red, matt white, matt yellow, metallic bronze, and the newest addition, gold brushed.

The Daphine Terra Floor Lamp Brushed Nickel LED 2700K is also available with the classic halogen light source.

Care Guide

Believe it or not, this industrial-looking lamp is still hand-made in Italy, as it has been for over half a century. Its sturdy frame can be gently wiped clean with a dust cloth.

We suggest keeping the Daphine Lamp in its natural position, being gentle with it as you would for other precious items and not putting too much pressure beyond its limits.
