The Dune House

At the heart of our design for this stunning outdoor hide-away lies its natural surroundings. We wanted to create a living connection between the architecture and nature, blending boundaries to evoke the serenity of a coastal dune. This project epitomizes harmony and a profound respect for the environment, offering a timeless addition to the estate’s legacy. In both the design of the house and interior we wanted to created a minimal and subtle style that expresses its refined character through the tactile sense rather than the obvious. It’s felt in its structures, textures and natural materials. 

Its contemporary, monolithic design employs vertical wooden slats and curved glass to achieve an elegant interplay of form and function. Concealed joints and frameless transitions create a seamless flow between the annex’s interiors and the serene exterior, while natural aging of the materials ensures it melds effortlessly into its surroundings over time.
