Plant Dyed Lantern Blue XL

The Plant Dyed collection grew in size and is now available in an XL version. 

Steeped in tradition, the Heritage Lantern is meticulously crafted by a team of five skilled artisans over five weeks, employing 190 precise processes for each piece. This pendant lamp, made from 95% natural materials, including waxed cotton canvas and a subtly curved bamboo frame, emits a soft and warm glow.

The artisan grows and harvests her own fresh Indigofera Tinctoria plants. To create a dense and rich blue color, they dip the natural cotton 20 times into a natural dye created from these plants. This way the plant-dyed lantern brings the colors of nature into your daily life. See a video about how production process of this indigo color here.
