Our core design team is led by Creative Director Floris Koch and Architect Hubert Crijns, whom you might already know.
Floris begins the design process by providing Hubert with creative ideas and mood boards. Hubert, the architect, is the creative force and head designer behind the actual design. He uses these resources to draft the initial concepts.
Throughout the design phase, Floris ensures that the work stays true to the original concept and makes necessary adjustments. Once Hubert finalizes the designs, Floris brings the entire design to life, skillfully turning the creative concepts into actual reality.

Behout: A True Testament to Pursuing Your Passion
Our trusted partner Behout, a distinguished carpentry workshop in Utrecht, is a testament to the unexpected journeys that shape our passions. The workshop is owned by a former medical professional who completed his education with the intent of becoming a doctor. However, he soon realized that his true calling lay elsewhere.
Opting for a sabbatical, he embarked on a personal project to build his own boat. This initial venture sparked a series of woodworking projects—from crafting a bar for a friend to making a table for another.
Six years later, this self-taught builder not only owns but actively builds at Behout, known for its outstanding craftsmanship in various types of wood. From modern kitchen cabinets to traditional arched doors, the workshop caters to both private and business clients, with each piece reflecting a blend of technical skill and personal passion.

This outstanding quality is a direct result of their genuine passion for their craft. Together, Floris Koch, our Head Designer, Architect Hubert Crijns, and Behout form 'The Golden Trio.' This collaboration has led to numerous successful projects, such as the kitchen at the Vaudeville Theater, A House in the Woods, The Dune House, Ecoalf, and more recent projects like Renessence, Bar Bowie, and our very own showroom at Frederiksplein 16, in Amsterdam.
Behout is also behind other notable interior projects in Amsterdam, such as Yuzu, Holysloot and Morgan & Mees.
A recent highlight from our partnership is the Table L'Ovale, a unique piece designed by Hubert Crijns and crafted by Behout. This table is a feature in our showroom, designed by Floris Koch, and it is also available on our website.
